Here's a nice video from Cozumel, Mexico showcasing all the underwater and reef animals. Great extended turtle and octopus sequences, barracuda, and an incredibly cute video of a large and small seahorse couple - are the seahorses parent and child, couple or just friends?
Here's an extended scuba diving video taken at Bida Nok, near Phi Phi Island in Thailand which follows a leopard shark underwater. I just love watching leopard sharks, but unfortunately have never seen one in person. Time for a Thailand scuba diving vacation!
Great video of a scuba diving trip to the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador around Darwin's Arch. Very dramatic music and really well shot, especially given the always difficult diving and visibility challenges in the Galapagos. It starts slow, but halfway through you get to see tons of schooling hammerhead sharks, hanging around a big whale shark and even a manta ray, which I never say during out trip there 6 years ago.
There is some really interesting Galapagos footage here, albeit rather dark. The opening minute was definitely the best - with Darwin's Arch in the background, you can watch slow-motion video of dolphins flying up out of the water! The rest of the video is typical Galapagos Islands scuba diving with whale sharks, eagle rays, seals and great schooling hammerhead sharks.
Here's a great promotional video for Kima Bajo Resorts, just outside Manado in Indonesia. The whole environment looks very luxurious and is well presented. The only thing odd is that given it's emphasis on eco diving and scuba diving around stunning North Sulawesi, there's surprisingly little actual underwater footage, mostly towards the end. But what there is features fantastic reefs, corals, colorful seahorses and beautiful schools of fish. Certainly a great all around holiday vacation and would be a trip of a lifetime!
